This lodge is equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, which was great for cooking meals and saving money. The three bedrooms provided plenty of space for my friends and me to relax and get a good night's sleep. The flat-screen TV was a nice bonus for winding down after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I didn't find the electric kettle in the villa very useful, but others might enjoy it.

Loved the bar on the balcony, perfect for sipping cocktails while admiring the view. The terrace was a great spot for sunbathing, though I wished for a unicorn butler to bring me drinks.
Missing out on a personal unicorn butler service.

Amazing place to stay! The staff went out of their way when I forgot my earpods and returned it to me. It has everything I need - kettle, TV, outdoor dining, and a restaurant. Can't wait to come back for Christmas!

Great location near town and close to scenic cycling paths. Clean, well-furnished lodge with stunning mountain views. Comfy bed, fabulous shower, and ample hot water. Good kitchen amenities including complimentary coffee and cleaning supplies. Prompt and helpful communication for check-in. Would love to return in the future.
Minor inconveniences: Wi-Fi access was a bit cumbersome and limited to two users at a time. Wish it could have been paid for the entire stay at once.

We had a fantastic stay at Lodge No 1! The location was perfect, with easy access to beautiful walks in Rothiemurchus and the restaurants in Aviemore. The view of the mountain from the lodge was breathtaking and made our stay even more enjoyable. The double bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The shower was excellent, providing a refreshing start to our days. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the owner's thoughtful gesture of leaving salt, pepper, oil, coffee. The heating worked perfectly, providing plenty of hot water and keeping us warm throughout our stay. Communication with the owner regarding check-in and other details was seamless.
Although our holiday was wonderful overall, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. It was a bit frustrating having to pay for Wi-Fi every day, especially since only two people could access it at a time.
